End of the Year 2022 – Arcanim: Of Foretold Fates and Chosen Harbingers

Hi everyone,

What a bumpy year!

As a review of the last couple of years, I left California at the beginning of November 2020. In turn, I moved to Sioux Falls, South Dakota, to wrap up my BA degree in Business and Marketing. I decidedly left Sioux Falls earlier this year during the summer (at the end of May 2022) for warmer climates. Now, I’ve been living in Daytona Beach, Florida for the last 6 months as I finish my last semester of university entirely remotely coming Spring, 2023, and continue working remotely as an Accounts Receivable and Billing Specialist.

Otherwise from that, I’ve also started CodeAcademy lessons to continue my personal education into the world of coding to try my hand at becoming a Full Stack Developer. It’s been interesting so far, and I was able to get a reasonable package for 12 months (total for a 1 year subscription was only $70). I’ve learned a lot so far, as I’m taking the “Learn Java” course and understanding the very fundamentals of coding and the logic behind communicating between the console and me.

But that’s not entirely why I wanted to share this post today.

Today, I’m sharing the first two completed chapters of Arcanim: Of Foretold Fates and Chosen Harbingers!

You can read the story for free on Wattpad here -> (read here).

Arcanim: Of Foretold Fates and Chosen Harbingers is a Fantasy and Science Fiction story filled with magical experiences, unforeseen betrayals, profound love, and thrilling revelations regarding the fictional world of Eloruk (in which the story takes place). In many ways, Arcanim: Of Foretold Fates and Chosen Harbingers mirrors our own world as it morphs and changes into something unrecognizable.

Here is a general blurb on the book (pulled from my Wattpad account):

Arcanim: Of Foretold Fates and Chosen Harbingers follows the story of two separate groups of people in the fictional world of Eloruk.

The first group is a one full of unlikely comrades, who have nevertheless been fatefully brought together. From all four corners of the world, these mismatched individuals converge on the small settlement of Harolin Town, unaware of the connections and ties that bound them together. It is only on the most auspicious of days, does the mysterious seer Jasper Suri reveal to them alone the true intentions of a much darker premonition that is only days away from fruition.

The second group comprises the proud soldiers of the grand Phenalian Armada fleet. As a military organization, the fleet is routinely assigned missions by both the wealthy class of society and the federal government. But on their most recent request on the newly commissioned Operation I.R.M. operation, the four Phenalian Armada soldiers quickly find themselves unraveling a most curious deception that leads them into a much wider world of dark possibilities.

The crux of it all?

The chosen harbingers may not be the perfect candidates for saving the world, as they may very well be faced with a larger fate than any future sight Jasper could have ever dreamed of.

And it may be a little too late for the soldiers, as they soon uncover a startling and morbid truth behind Operation I.R.M. that will lead them to a place only a few speak of.

Embark on the journey of a lifetime and uncover the hidden secrets of the world...

It brings me so much excitement that I can share on this platform the additional work I’ve put my time, effort, and dedication into over the last two decades of my life. It’s been challenging at times, and there were many days I wanted to just give up. But something inside me told me to continue onward – to write the many different stories that connect with everyday people in our own world.

Suffice it to say, I’ve completed all chapters and am updating the remainder of the book to be in 1st person.

With that said, I hope everyone has a relaxing or forgiving end of 2022 and let us all prepare for a surely rocky 2023!

Forever in Your Debts,

Leon R.M. Auguste
